  The big German pub in the heart of the city, serving traditional bier, was little bit of excitement for myself. While the choices were great not many was available on the tap. However went on for the weissbier on a biggest glass. While the experience was good the bier did not taste the same while in Munich. The freshness was not in the taste , which one would generally find in a German bier. The location was grate besides the river and the choice of food with German schnitzel and sausages were great. Some nice breads were also as the sides. The ambience is German with waitresses and waiters in typical Bavarian styles. The pub also offers some great deals in the footy season. Overall it's a nice place to hang out and is probably the best German pub in Melbourne. I would recommend a evening visit to this place.
